Your First Visit
Your first visit is very important. I value the time I commit to each patient with ample opportunity for understanding your unique health history, individual goals and challenges. The first session lasts about an hour and a half to provide time for a thorough consultation as well as your first treatment. I will ask you many questions about your current health and medical history. You may have questions too. Strict adherence to patient confidentiality is maintained at all times. Your modesty is respected with appropriate draping or you may wear loose comfortable clothing.
The treatment area is designed to be a healing environment. Most people remark on how relaxed they feel after the session. You are encouraged to ask questions any time. Becoming involved in your healing process is the goal. If you have not had acupuncture before, the process will be explained. I look forward to meeting you!
Insurance
Although I do not process insurance paperwork, you will receive the necessary form so that you may submit for reimbursement if your health insurance covers acupuncture and/or medical massage therapy.
